Property and usage
The zinc stearate is white or yellow powder, slippery feeling, water unsoluble, dissolving in hot ethyl alcohol, benzene and turpentine organic solvent, decomposing into stearic acid and zinc salt when meets strong acid and has water absorbability. It is stabilizer for polyvinyl resin processing, as well as softened lubricant of rubber products, glazed agents ?for textile, flatting agent for paint and enamel, as well as raw material for cosmetics flour.
